In addition to identifying savings of between 20 and 40% on our national stationary spend, the system has provided us with a robust and structured procure-to-pay process, in addition to a user friendly ordering interface.
The data processing to identify our prospective savings was completed accurately and efficiently which allowed us to gain board support quickly and effectively. In addition, the set up time and training to get personnel using the system has also been very quick.
Whilst we now continue a programme to roll the system out to our satellite operations, we are considering other spend categories which could be applied to the system, providing our internal customers with a consistent ordering system and ensuring Group purchasing can effectively manage and control disparate spend categories.
